Subsurface Deterioration Underlies Positive Year To Date Move

While the major indexes look to be firing on all cyclinders, the Sector Sum indicator shows deterioration beneath the surface. The chart below shows the Sector Sum making lower highs even as the S&P 500 makes new highs.
